3158 E. Burnside Excellent for new records, a small but economical source for used. There is a second location on NW 23rd that is just as good. |

2nd Avenue Records,
418 SW 2nd Avenue Excellent selection of music more modern than I really care about but Nick Polak among others would be very much at home here. |

Tower Records,
4100 SE 82nd Avenue The only Tower that I know about in Portland is on NE 102nd and it's just a typical Tower - there was one in Beaverton that was a pretty cool Tower as Towers go. |

Turntable Mary's New
and used Records, 120 SW Stark Lots of 12-in dance singles, they really zero in on the dance music there. |

3822 NE Sandy Blvd. Excellent for 1950s rock, otherwise not of much interest. |
